Product Overview
The key to maximizing nitrous horsepower is keeping the nitrous in liquid form until it enters the engine. When nitrous encounters sharp bends or expansion areas, it becomes turbulent, leading to boiling and the formation of gaseous bubbles. Liquid nitrous makes more power than gaseous nitrous—period.
NX Lightning solenoids use a raised entry and bottom exit design that eliminates multiple internal 90° turns and expansion areas commonly found in conventional solenoids. The smoother flow path helps maintain a dense liquid nitrous charge, delivering cleaner horsepower and more consistent performance.
Each solenoid is CNC-machined from lightweight billet aluminum and topped with a carbon fiber coil cover for reduced weight and durability. Lightning nitrous solenoids also feature a bypass port that allows the purge valve to connect directly to the solenoid body, ensuring trapped air is removed and providing repeatable solenoid reaction time.
